Mission

The mission of the Australian Indigenous Communications Association Incorporated is to endeavor to represent all Indigenous Controlled Organisations and indigenous individuals that are actively involved in or connected with the Media, Communications or Entertainment Industry in this land now known as Australia and in making the Indigenous voices of Australia heard both in Australia and Internationally.

The Associations' vision is that the dreams, aspirations and history of Indigenous Australians will be heard, seen, understood, accepted and respected by the entire Australian community.

The values that drive AICA are integrity, accountability, professionalism, respect for Indigenous cultural heritage, and consultation and representation in all activities undertaken.

The role of the Executive are:

• to develop local, national and international policies and strategies to promote AICA's objectives
• to facilitate the members in the implementation of these policies and strategies and to effectively represent Members.

And any other objectives as determined by resolution by the members from time to time.
